這次我將搶先介紹 BIOSTAR Z690 VALKYRIE,讓我們一同揭開新一代女武神的面紗:

Z690 VALKYRIE有著 20 相 DIGITAL PWM 與 CPU 8+8 pin 供電,與上一代同樣黑金配色的主機板,搭配鰭片式散熱與額外的主動式風扇、I/O 外殼與 PCH 散熱片。除了採用桃紅色點綴也而外搭載RGB顯色燈飾,在開啟電源之後象徵VALKYRIE的羽翼透著金光讓主板看似更騷包;主板背面也同樣維持上一代的設計有著矩陣造型點綴的散熱片,讓主板更加有份量與質感。

主機板右上角區域,除了 4 DIMM DDR5 記憶體插槽外,還有著 ATX 24-pin 供電、USB 3.2 Gen 2 與 USB 3.2 Gen 2X2 Type C 擴充座;以及 ARGB、RGB 針腳 與 CPU FAN 插座等。

│Extreme Mini! B660GTN

B660GTN adopts Mini ITX design, this is not the first time that BIOSTAR has tried to design a motherboard on Mini ITX. On the flagship Z590 of the previous generation, BIOSTAR used Z590I VALKYRIE to create good results and won praise from many media at home and abroad. The experience is transplanted into the RACING series, and the B660GTN is launched to provide users with more special options in many motherboards.

RACING B660GTN, the brand’s mid-level motherboard and belonging to the RACING series, uses Intel® B660 Chipset. The biggest change is that it supports PCIe 5.0 and can overclock the memory. With Intel 12th generation CPU, this Mini ITX is far better than before. Now, this generation would be stronger.

The B660 platform is one of the best chipsets in the current mainstream platform. Many advanced designs are introduced mainly for the characteristics of Alder Lake processors. Among them, the PCIe 5.0 interface makes the design of small motherboards more difficult, because the performance of PCIe 5.0 is higher than the previous generation. High transfer speeds also mean that motherboards need to go through more design layers than ever to reduce interference. Secondly, the Alder Lake series achieves a maximum of 14 cores and 20 threads at a time, which is higher than the power requirements.

Although the B660GTN is a mid-range motherboard, it is also a member of the RINCING series. It pursues the gamer’s desire for performance and execution speed. It is designed to accommodate the functions and materials of the ATX-class B660GTA motherboard in an ultra-small space, and finally achieve the more commonly used barebones specifications in the past. With the current quite powerful Alder Lake processor, as long as it is added as a graphics card, it can be easily meet the needs of most users, and because of its compact body, it can make more changes in space.

The B660GTN is one of the few Mini ITX motherboards on the market today. It also features a B660 chipset with an 8+1 phase CPU VRM, which is more than enough for an Alder Lake processor, while enhancing durability and making the power supply relatively reliable.

17x17CM size with cover heatsink and integrated IO design, make the appearance and performance take into account. It can also be found that even if the original Laminar RH1 fan is installed, DDR and PCIe still retain a considerable amount of space, which will not cause too much burden on heat dissipation, and it is very convenient to install and will not be stuck.

For storage, B660GTN supports 2* M.2 SSD and 4* SATA. The installation position of the M.2 SSD is adjacent to the PCIe 5.0 X 16 position under the CPU mentioned in the introduction, and the other is on the back of the motherboard. Avoiding the location of the CPU fan also greatly reduces interference.

As for the rest of the motherboard, it includes a CPU, a water cooling driver and a system for a total of three fan connectors. The rear panel includes one HDMI for APU video output, one DisplayPort, and four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ,two USB 2.0 Type-A and reserved network card slots supporting WiFi 6E with Realtek® RTL8125B (2.5 GbE LAN) Ethernet.

In most cases, DIYPC players mostly consider practicality and scalability when choosing a motherboard. After the advent of the new generation of INTEL600 series chips, these two requirements can be easily met, and support for PCIe 5.0 and DDR4 allows the performance to easily cope with various applications.

前言

│極致Mini! B660GTN

B660GTN採用Mini ITX設計,這已經不是BIOSTAR第一次嘗試在Mini ITX上設計主機板,在上一代的旗艦Z590上,BIOSTAR用Z590I VALKYRIE打出亮眼的成績並獲得國內外許多媒體的好評,這次BIOSTAR將這些經驗移植放入RACING系列中,推出B660GTN,在茫茫板海中提供使用者更特別的選擇。

B660GTN是目前市場上為數不多的Mini ITX主機板,還搭載B660晶片組,擁有8+1 相 CPU VRM,對應Alder Lake處理器相當足夠,同時加強耐久度,讓電力供應也相對可靠。
覆蓋式的散熱片與整合的IO設計在緊湊的17x17CM尺寸下,讓外觀散熱與效能都能兼顧。
即便是想要暴力改裝成水冷主機也不成問題,各插槽皆有足夠的空間並不會互相干涉,讓使用者在小機身也能達到不俗的效能。

B660GTA承襲Z690GTA設計同樣配有鰭片式散熱、I/O 外殼與 PCH 散熱片。 搭載RGB顯色B660GTN RACING的設計格局與 Z590I VALKYRIE 有點相似,不過為了應付Alder Lake,電源供應變成極其重要,而為了在緊湊空間長時間使用,B660GTN在電供上同樣賦予高耐久度的固態電容,同時也使用散熱片完全覆蓋,在一般使用上也不會有過熱的狀況,而對於一些極限玩家,充足的空間供強化與改裝,讓日後也能輕鬆超頻不會有散熱上的負擔。

B660GTN的散熱片無論面積與材料都與旗艦款Z590I相比,而且也兼顧了整體造型,並仍是有考慮到一些細節的,舉例來說,玩家可見到M.2上散熱片不單單只是加上一塊上蓋而已,下方是包覆的設計,讓M.2 SSD 被散熱片包裹,也可以避免對其它部位的干擾,讓散熱更加穩定。

我們使用Laminar RH1風扇,此風扇高度為目前官方三個型號中最高也最大的一個,多而高聳的鰭片加上全銅底座,是用來對應支援Intel Core i9 CPU,因此散熱是絕對不馬虎的,而這也讓CPU位置變得相當醒目, Laminar RH1風扇內建有RGB的設計,在使用時會發出象徵的藍色光芒(預設),與RACING系列主板匹配度100%。

同樣可以發現就算裝上原廠Laminar RH1風扇,DDR與PCIe也都還保有相當大的空間,並不會對散熱造成過多的負擔,安裝上不會卡手卡腳相當方便。

儲存方面B660GTN 支援2* M.2 SSD與4* SATA ,M.2 SSD安裝位置,一個在前言所提到的CPU下方與PCIe 5.0 X 16 的位置相鄰,另一處則在主板的背面,避開了CPU風扇的位置也讓干涉大大降低。

至於主機板的其它部分則包括一個 CPU 、一個水冷驅動與一個系統共三個風扇的接口 ,背板部分包括提供 APU 影像輸出用的一個 HDMI 、一個 DisplayPort,四個 USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ,二個 USB 2.0 Type-A,並預留網卡插槽支援WiFi 6E搭配 Realtek®RTL8125B (2.5 GbE LAN) 乙太網路提供。

大部分的情況下,DIYPC玩家在選擇主板的部分大多考量實用性及擴充性。在新一代INTEL600系列晶片問世之後,這兩種需求已經可以輕易滿足,支援PCIe5.0、DDR4能讓效能輕鬆應付多種應用。
而Mini ITX在體積上有很大的優勢,小巧的主板上能容下2*DDR、1*PCIe、2*M.2 SSD再搭配20升左右的機殼,對於空間規劃比較吃緊的朋友相對的適合。而對於那些極限改裝的玩家也能提供最大限度的支援,讓改裝者在外觀上與效能上都能有很好的發揮空間。

    (the setting method is the same)

9pcs VGA card, you need to set up a virtual memory of 45GB or more,
otherwise an error will appear when you run the mining software

(2) 9 graphics cards need about 1800W, so use two 1200W power supply combinations, one power supply 1200W connected to 5 graphics cards, the other 1200W connected to 4 graphics cards.

(3) After booting into the HiveOS, the screen goes black (OS version: hiveos-0.6-208-stable-20210818). The external graphics card does not have this problem.

It is determined that it should be a Hive OS problem. Currently, Z590/Z690 chip VGA driver is not supported.  After a period of time, let’s see if there are any improvements in the new version.
