(Classroom) How to Install a Solid State Drive (SSD)?

BIOSTAR Blog is back with a quick and simple tutorial!

This time, we’re here to guide everyone through how to install your shiny new BIOSTAR G300 Series SSD!

 

Well, what are we waiting for? Let’s get started!

1. Unscrew the screw and remove the backplate. In this case, we are using a mini-ITX PC case here.

Remove the backplate.

2. Inserting the BIOSTAR G300 Series SSD into the bracket.

Start by unscrewing the screw to remove the built-in bracket.

Then proceed to place the BIOSTAR G300 Series SSD into the bracket and screw the SSD in from the back.

Then, proceed to insert the SSD into the 2.5′ drive bay.

After which we gotta screw the SSD in tight.

3. Plug in the SATA III and power cable to the SSD.

4. Now we just gotta put the backplate back on…

Screw it in…

AAANNNDDDD… Now we’re set!
